Factory Level Blockout
Conceptualising and Blocking Out Level
This project takes place in an abandoned factory and is based on ‘Little Nightmares’ . My task was to develop a blockout which included mechanics that you would find in the game series that the level is inspired by.
Goals for the project:
- Development of blockout
- Implementation of puzzles
- Create something which feels like 'Little Nightmares'
Gameplay Features
> Full blockout for the first section of the factory
> Platforming puzzles to progress through the environment
> Movable box mechanic
> Environmental storytelling
> Side-scroller camera angle, replicating the feel of 'Little Nightmares'
